clutch problem not bleeding

can anyone give me a idea my wife has a2005 saturn vue and when the vehicle is first started she cant get it in gear it only has 1/2 pedal so i tried to blead it at the bleader by the tranny no luck .now no pedal can some one please help

You'll need to pull a vacuum on the master cylinder resivor. Hold vacuum for about 3 minutes, release vacuum pump the padel and repeat 2 more times. the last one I did (ion) I first used my hand vac pump. It only pulled about 23" vac and didn't work well. So I tried my vacula type tool and that pulled a greater vacuum and the clutch worked great.

This is exactly what mine did.

Your clutch mater cylinder is shot. We actually broke a vacuum pump trying to bleed mine - it's not terribly expensive, but replace it. The seal turned sideways in mine and jammed it up.

My master failed, we replaced it... about a year later, my slave failed and took the master with it. At that time, I had all of the hydraulics replaced as well as the pressure plate and such while they were in there - this was at 45K miles.
