Default Flashing check engine light!

Ok I have and 03 saturn ion with 58k miles on it. Always kept up and really no problems went out to go to work car didn't start, tired again still didn't... Then I tried again and it started but very rough and sounded like a diesel, check engine light started flashing very shortly after. So I was reading on forums and everyone has been talking about replacing coils and ICM. MY question is, is that one piece or 2 to 3 individual pieces?? I saw a picture on another forum and what I got from it was the ICM was the big plastic piece and the 2 little cylinder shaped pieces on bottom were the coils?? Please let me know I need to get this fixed asap!!

The ICM is the silver part with the electrical plug in it. The coil is the part the ICM bolts to.

Beware of the flashing SES indicator! Members have burned out their catalytic converters in as little as 10 miles. The excess unburned fuel just goes into the catcon to be ignited and quickly cooks the converter. An expensive trip if you have to drive anywhere for a free reading. Here are pictures of the two parts you're asking about.

58K miles? Start with spark plugs before throwing coils or an ICM at it.
