Re: Both Low and High Beam Headlights (left and right) not working

DRL are powered by different source but since they light it verifies headlamp ground paths are okay.

I suggest you connect voltmeter to socket 30 for relay 7 (HDLP LO) and 8 (HDLP HI) to test for...

Re: 2007 Saturn Vue Doors will not open

Locks consistently working only with engine running sounds like a power supply problem.

Door lock/unlock actuators can become "lazy" as years pile up.

Internal wiring resistance should not...

That thumbnail appears to be from 05 Vue owners manual but isn't correct.

I've posted extract from 2007 owners manual which applies to 05, 06 or 07 Vue's and I don't have earlier year to compare...

Re: 05 vue v6

Having locksmith nearby is a good thing. ;)

I agree with key being non-chip, typical for 02-07 Vue's.

Theft deterrent is a replaceable PASSLOCK sensor circuit embedded in lock cylinder housing....

Re: 05 vue v6

"Hotwire" probably means owner bypassed resistor in ignition cylinder with external resistor - or perhaps installed a commonly available universal learning bypass module such as JBS Model 791.

Re: High Beams Stay On

One side of headlamps are "hard-wired" to battery (thru fuses).

Possible causes of high beams staying on:

1. Ground side wire of lighting circuit intermittently shorted to ground or one of...

Re: 07 Saturn Vue Not Starting

These steps check wiring connected to ECM - not internal ECM.

You want to make sure voltages are getting to ECM - the procedures ask you to check for shorts and opens.

However, if you have test...

Re: 07 Saturn Vue Not Starting

I've attached a few extracts.

P1682 could be a factor for crank but no run.

P0116 is listed for 2.4 and 3.5 but not for 2.2 engine - I attached anyway

Po118 attached in case you also wanted...

I've attached some service manual extracts which could help isolate cause.

Have Mom try shifting from PARK to NEUTRAL and then back to reverse to see if it improves engaging...

Re: 2006 Vue RDM Replacement

There are four 3.5...

If yes - you might want to check sensor wiring and if okay have a replacement sensor handy.

I've attached FSM extract...
